THE HANDLING OF TOP AND BOTTOM GLASSES  IN THE FRONTEND

The frontend handles the use of topglasses and bottomglasses on fruit machine models in more or less the same way as the marquee and screenshot images for mame. It will first look for an image with the name of the game file in the second entry of a games gamelist entry. If  not found it will search for the dummy files.

-You can create the gamelist automatically with the internal parser from folder contents
-extension = *.gam
-emulator = fruit
-emulator type = app
-3d model = fruitm or barcrestgen

You might have to put the .gam in second entry of the games gamelist ....

Creating textures for MFME:

-Topglass textures should be edited so that only the inner part, not the wooden case, is visible and be as straight as possible and then resized and saved in 256x256 format.

-Bottomglass to be the same as the topglass 256x256 format. You can take a screenshot of the fruit machine from MFME. Then you can alter it in your photo editor.

And make sure you name them the same name as in the second entry of the games gamelist.

-You can download the MFME2 emulator here and layouts and roms here. Get the old fruit machine model from the model section of the site and put it in your models folder.
