  • Symbols:

      -- - mode not defined with these colours;
      ok - hey it works!
      ar - works, but has the wrong aspect ratio. Usually 320x200 in 16 colours, but also modes where only half the screen appears;
      cl - wrong colours, black screen, etc;
      il - works but board doesn't support interlace mode;
      un - some other limitation; and,
      xh - unsupported, hardware limitation. You should avoid even trying to set this mode, if you can.

      mp - no proper full screen movie playback (MPEGs, etc).
      cp - cursor problems on non interlaced modes or modes > 800x600

  • Only the most common standard video modes are shown. However, some of these video cards have additional modes which VGATV might support.
  • Results may vary depending on your Windows version/video driver combination. The one which works best ends up here.
