Killer Pizza

Features

The monitor frame includes a lightbox for a marquee and the monitor.

Speakers are installed in the lightbox, and are wired to the amplifier in the main computer cabinet. The speakers and amplifier came from a set of amplified speakers by Cyber Acoustics, removed from the case for this project.

The monitor is a MAG 14" LCD monitor. This monitor is uniquely thin, approximately one inch thick when mounted to the frame. The frame is 3/4" thick, so the whole unit is less than 2", which is all the space we have above the computer cabinet when the case is closed.

There is room for some blue cathode light tubes behind the monitor. I had wanted red, but the blue actually turns out very well.

The keyboard and trackball are mounted with velcro, and the cables routed inside to connect to the motherboard's USB connectors. Two additional USB connectors are available from the outside of the case, for game controllers or other gear that needs to be temporarily connected. These are USB 2.0.

A DVD-ROM drive is mounted as well. You might want to take in a movie between frag sessions.
