One of the newest members of the Annis clan, Zavier Lee Annis is the son of Jeffrey Lea and Edna (Kolandaisamy) Annis. Zavier was born December 8, 2001 and is being held by proud grandfather, Jerry Annis of Lincoln, CA. Lauren and Erik Annis - June 2001
It's GREAT to have great kids, and I have been allotted more than my fair share of them. When my two eldest children, who work and attend college in California, asked me what I wanted for my birthday and Father's Day this year, I replied that I would love to have a new photograph of the two of them together. They had this and another pose shot and sent them to me with a wonderful card that brought tears to my eyes (no it wasn't a Hallmark). Lauren will be 23 this August 5th and Erik will be 21 a month later, September 14th. A man's Blessings cannot be counted in the money that he has in the bank, or the clothes that he wears upon his back, but they can be found in the eyes and hearts of his children, his greatest legacy. Thank you Lauren and Erik. It would have been a lonely and empty world without you. - Dad

John Ditson Annis
I believe that this is an ink blotter, the cardboard is thicker than an average post card, and this measures a little bigger than an average post card-this is 6 1/4" by 3 1/2". At the top of this it reads JOHN C. HUTCHINS, PRES. WILLARD CUMMINGS, VICE PRES. JOHN ANNIS, TREASURER FARMERS GUARANTY SAVINGS BANK COLEBROOK, N.H. On the image of the men haying with horses and a farm in the background on the left corner it reads 86 STACKING HAY 1912 E. LAMASURE. Underneath the scene it reads WHEN DAY IS DONE, AND THE GOLDEN SUN TIPS YON MONADNOCK CREST;AND COMING NIGHT SETS HER LAMPS ALIGHT, A BANK BOOK GIVES YOU REST.
John Ditson Annis was a banker by profession, Treasurer of the water works company that his father founded, and Town Treasurer of Colebrook, NH in 1904. He was also a Knight Templar and 32nd Degree Mason. He was born July 1, 1869 at Colebrook and lived his entire live there, dying in 1942. He married Ellen Watkins and had four children Kenneth John, Elsie M., John Ditson Jr., and Ralph W.

This is a nice clean square quart milk bottle that is red-painted ANNIS Dairy Avon, N.Y. on both sides. Annis Dairy was founded by Victor Hoyt Annis of Livonia and Avon, NY. He was born October 4, 1892 and died February 6, 1937. His son Howard Sleight Annis (1920-1996) took over the business with his father's passing and ran it for many years.
