The upper area of the cabinet is for a monitor.

It uses flip-back doors, so when the monitor is visible, the doors are hidden.

Speakers sit behind the monitor. Below the shelf for the monitor are two special boxes used to switch inputs.

The box on the left is a Viewsonic Video Processor. When a monitor is connected to it, the monitor can show a normal computer signal through a VGA cabinet, a TV signal (coax connector in back, built in tuner), or NTSC video through RCA inputs. The RCA inputs come from the video switcher on the right, which switches between the video game consoles in the cabinet.
