help Need some help with MAMEWAH? Try the following: NOTE: THIS APPLIES TO MAMEWAH v1.61 ONLY!!! Anything relating to older versions have been removed, to void confusion and as such is unsupported.
1) Consult the MAMEWAH documentation - (if you have installed MAMEWAH it will be located in your \mamewah\docs folder). The documentation is far from exhaustive, but you may find your answer. Here are the docs as supplied with MAMEWAH: readme.txt - this should get you started ini.txt - a list of all available ini file settings layouts.txt - an explanation of how the layout system works ctrlr.txt - an explanation of how the ctrlr (input) system works tips.txt - performance-enhancing tips faq.txt - frequently asked questions whatsnew.txt - whatsnew in all versions license.txt - license agreement
2) Consult a help site: John Crouse's CPViewer site - excellent information as well as example ini files & layouts for download Marcianitos - excellent start to finish tutorial including layouts for download (in Spanish) Many thanks to the authors
of the above sites for going to such trouble - much appreciated!
3) Search the message boards - your questions may already have been answered (several times!):ArcadeOS / MAMEWAH board (MAMEWorld) If you cannot find what you are looking for then post a question...please use the ArcadeOS / MAMEWAH board if possible - I regularly visit both boards, but of course I am a moderator of this one.
4) Contact me:Since I get an awful lot of emails please make sure you have thoroughly checked the above methods before emailing me.
