How to get support for you problems.

Self-Help Resources

Before contacting the project users and developers regarding a support issue, we encourage you to try using any self-help materials that the project provides, such as documentation, known bug lists, and troubleshooting guides.

The most likely places to find information of this nature is the documentation included in the file releases and the advancemame-user mailinglist and forum archives.

You can use the following box to search the documentation present in this web site. The mailing list and forum archives have their search engine.

Support Resources

You can contact the other project users using the Forums and ask for help.

You may also contact the project power users and developers by sending email to the advancemame-users mailing list. The mailing list is the best way to get high technical help and for general discussions. You can read or search through existing mailing list posts to ensure your issue has not already been reported and discussed.

If you have found a bug you can fill a Bug Report. If you are unsure if your problem is a bug or something other please before discuss it in the advancemame-users mailing list.

If you want to propose a new feature you can fill a Feature Request.

Notification Resources

If you want to be notified only when a new version of the software is released you can subscribe at the advancemame-announce mailinglist. You will receive a notification message at every software release.

If you are a registered user of SourceForge or FreshMeat you can also use their notification system.

Developer Resources

The main developer resource is the AdvanceMAME SourceForce page. It contains links to all the developer resources.

Specifically you can browse online the sources, get the most recent version using CVS, access the advancemame-devel mailing list, get all the old file releases, and submit patches.
